Retrofi Electric heated seats - help

I set out on my mission to retofit electric heated front seats to my 2009.5 HSE that is African spec so no heated seats

After being told by my local LR specialist that the wiring for the seats were not there under the seats i bought a universal kit.

however when i compared the connector to my RR S that has the heated seats i found that the wiring block and wires were all there.

So with this new news i managed to buy a new HVAC controller with the heated seat switches.

So having received it last night i followed wiggs pics (thanks BBS for pointing me in right direction and wiring diagram) and pulled my new dash apart. And was heart broken to find that the extra cable and plug that must serve the heated seat circuit is not there behind the dash.

How can LR do this to us. Have part of the loom ready and waiting and the rest missing

So before i put my dash back together and find a new home for the controller - anyone got any ideas how i could get the switched to at least switch on and off the universal kit if not the OEM set up?

Contact 10forCash (Sitesponsor). He's just done a retrofit for another member last weekend and he helped me with mine when I did them in our D3 5-seater basic several years ago. But don't PM him, use the e-mail button or [email protected]

Thanks I will - well i did in fact when the car was still in the UK after Xmas but didnt get reply before i had to leave
Now its in Poland so need some remote help
