2011 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

Retrofit DAB

Hii everyone,

Just picked up my D4 GS and disappointed that there isn't a DAB radio. I thought they came as a standard.

Can someone let me know if I can retrofit a dab radio combined with a sat nav and reverse camera- all using the same inbuilt screen on the dash. At the moment, it just displays the radio station.

Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find the information anywhere.

Did you get this sorted ?

I dont have dab in mine either, is it a case of throw in the module and and antenna connections ? and enable it ?

Any one with DAB installed could give me a picture of the installed parts and part no.s ?

Also if they have a copy of CCF would help too.

My LR4 is 2012 and had the small screen with colour display.

The IHU (Integrated Head Unit) beneath display that takes the CD also housed the DAB radio and standard FM/AM radio as well as the 80W amplifier. The base model (Low Line) schematics are uploaded in my gallery showing IHU etc.

RF connections on the rear of this module are 1 dual white Fraka connector for the FM/AM radio aerials and a further dual white Fraka connector but wider spaced for the DAB L and 3 band aerials.
