Reverse dipping mirror

i have recently bought a 05 tdv6 s, which has a few upgrades

i was recently messing about with it and noticed i could switch on the reversing dip mirror, so i thought with it being very handy and having overfinch wheels fitted then this was a good idea. unfortunatly it still doesnt dip.

the car has rear PDC and manual adjust seats? the rear PDV is currently not working but im looking to get this sorted ASAP.

should the mirror dip with the spec i have?

somebody with more knowledge than me will possibly correct, but I think you need to have seats with memory module (electric seats) for that function.
Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

I have a 57 plate XS and the reverse mirror dipping feature is on the menu too.
When I first got the car, I could have sworn that the feature actually worked. I must have been dreaming because I took it it to the dealer when it stopped working (if it worked in the first place), and they told me that it was only an option with memory seats which I don't have.
I am beginning to think that I was getting mixed up with my previous car which I had for a short time.

I have tried to get clarification from the Land Rover, but have had no success.
