I have our 05 S booked in with the dealer we bought it off (under warranty) for them to have a look at the reversing sensors.
The problem being that the sensors work intermitently and when they do the bleep is more of an electronic rasp than a clear bleep.
My guess is that the bleeper is shot but wondered if anyone had had a similar problem? If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough - Mario Andretti

 could well be your fault? it will log a fault code if it is faulty,this can be confirmed if it has faulted by the park sensor on/off button l.e.d flashing.have changed a few of these in the past.
