My car has gone into 'limp' mode - restricted performance.
Plugged in to diagnostics and indicated turbo pressure problem, which apparently indicated a split hose or similar.
No split hoses, but on further looking, seems the front corner of the rocker cover (on both sides, but worse on driver's side) is lifting slightly when the engine revs.
Indy has said this means major take apart to replace rocker covers. Covers about £170+vat each. Lots of labour. And might as well do rear belt at the same time.
Car is only 4 years old. 85,000 miles. So, not very happy.
Has anyone else come across this? Any thoughts? Any suggestions? Is there a fix that doesn't involve spending best part of £1K inc doing the belt? D4 XS MY12 Galway

I did search before posting, and didn't really find anything, but it was late last night, I'll have another look tonight.
Do you suggest approaching them direct, or through a dealer? D4 XS MY12 Galway
