A Rolling Stone
A Rolling Stone gathers....Well there weren't any rolling stones in Chester today, but this being raceday in the city, I daresay there were several stoned rollies. However, late this afternoon, an enthustiacally ridden silver D3,with a whip on its back, and a saddle to behold, fairly galloped up to Sealand Ind Est! I definitely heard the words : "Go on! go on my beauty!" as it leapt around the roundabout. Judging by the LR accessories catalogue, I think there is only one jockey that fits the bill!

For some slightly bizarre notion I have in my head Doris Day singing in Calamity Jane:
Oh, the Deadwood stage is a rolling on over the plains
With the curtains flappin and the driver a'snappin the reins,
A beautiful sky, a wonderful day,
Whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away!
It's sort of how a D3 would have been 150 years ago! In full regalia and driven in spirit, is it the Deadwood Stage of the 21st century??
