Rogue, just noticed this thread! Embarassed I run 2 D3s (mine & Mrs DSL's) and the latter has a raised air intake. Never really noticed any difference in wind noise between them at "normal" speeds (varying between 60 & 80 on motorways). Only problem I have is ocasionally banging my head on it when getting into Mrs DSL's car when not paying attention. Rolling Eyes
