Roofbox available for D3 members to borrow

My roofbox seems to spend much of its time attached to my garage roof joists, rather than on my D3 so I figured I'd offer it out to D3 members.

It's a Thule North Cape model, in gloss metallic black. Spec as follows:

Low clearance: height of NorthCape cargo box above roof rack load bar is only 11.5 inches.
Dual-side opening.
Installation in seconds with the Quick Snap mounting system.
Lockable.

Fits to standard bars with U-Clamps or can be fitted using T-Track mounts

230cm x 82cm x 35cm
450 litres
Weight 26kg
Max Load 75kg

All I ask is that anyone borrowing it collects/drops off (or passes on to next D3 member who wants to borrow it) and that they make a donation to the site.

Anyone wanting to borrow it, just drop me a pm Thumbs Up

You can have my box whenever you need it Bods..... let me rephrase that.

Its not a large box but plenty roomy for the average person... damn Thud

Its a box from way back when LR built boxes for the Freelander 1.

Has cross bars and T tracks fitted, keys etc.

New D3 is already here and grabbed on the N95 while is Elan Valley Thumbs Up

Just to add that I can also loan out some Atera roof bars for the roof box to sit on. You'll just need to have the roof rails/tracks for them to sit in. I'll fit it for whoever borrows it Thumbs Up

Hi Stick, yup, I can still loan it out (and can drop it off in Winchester nearer the time). Drop me a pm with dates and contact details and I'll sort it out with you Thumbs Up

I'm sure Martin (site owner) won't mind if I ask that you make a donation to Help for Heroes via the signature pic on this reply instead of a site donation 8)
