Rotory coupler - replaced during warranty work

Just checked the paperwork from my recent warranty work and there is a page referring to a recall that has been done. Dealer didn't mention it when I collected the car.

"KIT - STEERING C LQMB501300" £14.24

Anyone know what it is ?

I think this is the rotary coupler for the airbag.

Mine had the same recall done at it's last service and I was told by the dealer that it was the rotary coupler.

mine is visiting the dealer now and mentioned a recall

rotary coupler for the airbag ~ i am assuming this is the part that makes the electrical connection for all steering wheel controls and airbag

i wonder if this is why my cruise only works when it wants to ~

does anyone know if this is the part i am thinking and is the cruise issue known?? has anyone else had issues ??

thanx

Yup most likely your problem. Take it to the dealer they will fix even if out of warranty.

recall is what was on the paperwork hence my query.

Nice to find out it may fix the intermittent failing cruise button though.
