RRS Day

Well I did my RRS day at Gaydon yesterday and what a day it was 8) I have to say it is a hooligans car but that noise 8) 8) 8) You weren't allowed to get water on the bonnet off road - what a challenge Embarassed glad to report me and a mate both succeeded. Highlights of the day were the high speed track bit, especially the poor road surface test tracks - a big car should not handle like that, on the proper track we got 135mph. Other highlights were a good look inside the Freelander which is going to sell like hot cakes (they were testing it off road with a RAV4 and an X3) and the Astons 8) A good mickey taking of the boss who has another DB9 on order ensued, especially as he has just blown his Ferrari 360 up by sticking it in 2nd at 8,000 revs Rolling with laughter

Finished the day with a blast in my mates E55 that hit 90 between the Museum entrance and the LR roundabout - now that was a beast.

Top marks to LR, well organised just wish I could of had longer to peak inside some of the buildings Twisted Evil

Having Martin was a bonus - he knew all the roads and the fact that there are no fixed speed cameras even though there are signs saying that there are.
