Hello!

Just picked up a front number plate plinth. It didnt come with any screws or other fixings?

Can anyone enlighten me to the best way to attach this to the front bumper? I dont have PDC on the front. Should i screw it on and if so, any suggestions on screw, length or washers etc?

Thanks!
Hi, had my V8 SE for a year now, mostly excellent.
LPG conversion is STAG-300, not many workshops seem to know the product.

My LPG consumption has averaged 14.5 mpg, mostly long runs, which is not as good as several other V8 LPG owners have reported.

I had injectors replaced with Prinz/Prins, fuel consumption is now 15.5, but still seems thirsty, esp. as I'm a very easy-going driver.

So, I'm looking for a STAG-savvy LPG engineer (UK)...

view forum post
I think my next major mod will be a swing away wheel carrier. I have just fitted the RLD Wheel protector today and having the K9draw system in the back I can see a potentional nightmare. The box has to come out to get to the spare release bolt. I am thinking with a boot full of stuff on top and possibly bad weather it would be a good mod to have. Plus nice to have two spares for the next overland trip. Question is which one. I always want the best. Hi All

I'm trying to understand my options here and as the subject says, I don't know which to go for.

The cost of the remap file from Pete is £150 - a good deal I'm sure given the feedback I've read.

The cost of a 2nd-hand interface is about £250

So that's £400 all in.

I'm about to change out my rear rotors and pads and I have a few questions.
1. do both rear wheels have to be jacked up and on axle stands at same time
2. do I need to adjust epb after even if I don't replace them?
3. If yes, is it easy to do? I've been reading Bodsy brake bible and just wanted to clarify, to loosen the ratchet I will push down on ratchet away from spring and tighten push up towards spring, right?

view forum post
_________________
Narpy's Grill Mod, Suspension Rods, Ultra guage, nitto grappler 285/60/18, new thermostat, diff oils changed, brake switch new, aluminum rack floor, LED driving lights in foglights, rear camera, just need gvif unit, next on list!
Are Land Rover parts purchased in the UK in general cheaper than those from the Netherlands or Germany?

If so, which sites/addresses in the UK are recommendable?

The sites I viewed did not seem to have all parts on offer.

Hello all, having read the thread on changing door handles (which was massively useful) I successfully changed 3 out of the 4 handles in minutes. However when I came to the passenger door the main handle wouldn't pull out, like the others due to the privacy lock. Is there a different routine for this?, do you have to remove the privacy lock? Help please??

	Guys.

My boot had the broken switch problem, so I ordered a new boot handle to replace the broken one.
Needless to say what sounds easy was not as the torx screws that hold it on broke off in the brass fittings of the old handle and I had to saw and drill them out. I now need three new one's and I guess there are no part numbers.
Does anyone use anywhere for these types of screws and fixings? Or is it down the dealer with the head of the cut off screw?

With all the sunroof leak threads it was hard for me to find an answer to this...
I have a MY 2007 D3 HSE PP with sunroof, are the chances that I will experience a sunroof leak as high as those with older D3's?
Did they change anything with the draining during the D3 production years?
Follow-up question: is the problem still "valid" for D4's?

Thanks,

I changed my oil and filter today and also treated the engine to slick 50.
Before this treatment the oil pressure light would stay on for about 3-4 seconds after starting from cold.
It now goes out immediately and the engine seems to be a bit quieter and smoother.
I remember seeing an advert for slick 50 about 25 years ago where they treated a Ford Sierra (i think) and ran it without any oil after treatment and it kept on going. Not that I would recommend that but you...

view forum post
_________________
D3 SE

	2006 base spec
Would like to stick a socket in the back of the cubby box for kids toys
Any ideas where I can take the wiring from?
Do higher spec models have a socket here?
Would the wiring be present?
Where would I get a socket from?

Thanks

view forum post
Facing a £500 LR dealer bill to change the condenser, I decided to do it myself. Eight hours later it is done and all parts accounted for. A few people to thank on here.

TLO for supplying the condenser with a discount for Forum membership. Great service as always, delivered next day.
