12 yo son wants to buy a SCUF controller for his Xbox.

Looks like any awful lot of money to me when he has 2 perfectly good standard controllers, but I don't play so what do I know .

Anyone into gaming and can tell me if they are worth it?

About time we had some decent weather I managed to stay outside all day, and feel really good, I got loads done. When I picked up my disco in March I was given a LR experience voucher. Not dated so I assume its still valid

Got home from a week away yesterday to find a letter from LR with a new experience day voucher. It's different to the first one I have in that it comes with a USB with a down load

Does this mean I have 2? Or foes this second one superceed the first ?

Evening all,

Need a bit of advice,
my garage is fed from the main house fuse box via a 40 amp rcd which feeds a 2 gang consumer unit in the garage with a lighting rcd and a socket rcd i think these are 6 amp and 16 amp respectively, the cable from house to garage looks like normal socket twin and earth.

the other day i went to the garage and the lights wouldn't turn on after checking neither lights or sockets were working but neither had tripped,...

Been given the green light from SWMBO to do a bit of a midlife crisis road trip. Allowed up to 3 weeks and can go anywhere that I'd like. Not looking for offroading trip, tarmac only, and may take the D3 but may take the other car as it gets 55mpg, D3 would be half that. Thinking of heading up to Nordkapp via the Baltic and back via Kiruna, Moi Rana and Trondheim, about 5,500 miles all in.

Anyone else got a suggestion for a Road Trip? Going to Spain in October so not...

1996, on hold in Florida, popped into a Wal-mart, picked up a Gerber multi tool for 19 dollars. Last week, whilst doing a bit of pruning (ahem), I broke the knife blade. A quick call to Silva, who handle the warranty claims, sent off the old one, yesterday received a brand new one in the post.

Has anyone got or had a Jaguar XF, I have a chance of buying a XF 3.0D Premium Luxury with 32,000 miles on the clock, the price is a more than a couple of thousand below dealer prices. I have never driven one yet, but I am looking for a long distance comfy car that does near enough 45-50 MPG at the legal limit.

Hi, okay, I would like to take the ferry from the UK to Brittany, as far west as possible would be good, so looking at Roscoff and St. Malo.

The trouble is the ferry fares are roughly £500. If I went to Calais, some 300 miles away, I could get it for £60. Any ideas?

I've spent the evening plugging away at various sites. LD Lines do a Portsmouth to Le Harve ferry at £284, but its still 220 miles from where I am going, so not worth the effort to save only...

On the A14 Saturday, I was behind a 13 plate, five series BMW.
He moved to lane 1 then indicated to take the slip road and he definitely had red rear indicators.
BMW looked brand new too and right hand drive but the red indicators really had me baffled.

Has the law changed or is red acceptable these days???
