Shocked

OK experts, my disco has a weird problem!

Got the wheels aligned with a new set of front Scorpions, they were badly out, so all fixed methinks.

But no, car still drifts to the left. Then stoopid council puts up road sign saying uneven road, rather than fix it, oncoming traffic, front left wheel goes in sunken drain which jumps up and wallops alloy wheel, whole car shakes, dent in rim.

So back to tyre fitters for new rears and alignment check, front wheel ever so slightly out, put straight

6000 miles later, outer edge of front left tyre is nearly bald, right front is in good condition, no abnormal wear and car still pulls to left slightly, meanwhile the suspension is making knocking sounds and today there was some squeaking from the front wheels whilst going round a bend.

So? Worn bushes? something bent perhaps? I presume all the wheel alignment in the universe is wasted if the bushes are stuffed because it will slip out of alignment quite readily?

It certainly sounds like a suspension-related issue. Sad

I think the dealer is the only option. Evil or Very Mad

Sorry,
Peter

Maybe that you did some slight damage when you hit that pot hole.
