I think it was blocked/leaking drain tubes from the sunroof because no more water has appeared under the carpet yet.

Where are the clips located and do they attach the rubber seal to the bottom of the screen?

I am loathe to pull the seal out too far in case I stretch it, but if water appears agian that is what I'll have to check.

About an inch or so below where the rubber joins the plastic. Use your palm and pushing onto the plactic you should feel them. It appears that screen fitters dont push them fully home as you have to push dead centre on them to engage them fully and hold the rubber tight to the screen. From memory there are a good six or so across the bottom of the screen. Mine used to only leak if it really rained heavily as the near side wiper would deflect normal run off from the screen. Annoyed me for a while until I worked it out from the wet pollen filter.
