Rubbish or a good idea
Just got a D4 HSE and was talking to the Senior Salesman about battery drain problems and he said "Always lock it (well covered already) and always leave it at access height as then the vehicle won't keep try to check suspension levels" Thoughts please.

I type too slow..
We always lock ours, who wouldnt, and drop it down on entry into the drive so that dogs can get out and then back in easily.
I still have to be VERY careful about using my nice new Remote Heat - warnings on battery life every time.D4 HSE - Aintree Green

I never drop or lock the car in the garage over nights - some times it sits here for 2 days without driving it. Battery still fine.
I check it all the time though: Top = Main and Bottom = Aux (Optima Yellow-top)

On my MY2011 I occasionally had the battery warning message when using the timed FBH but on my MY2012 I have never had the problem even this week with my daughter being off school because of the weather, the timed climate fired on 2 days without the engine running and no battery warning messages Cheers Ian

Slightly off topic but I've lost count of the amount of times I've stopped, switched engine off and THEN remembered need to lower it for passengers Often someone will have opened a door by then as well so if you want to lower it you need to get all doors shut, start up, wait a couple of seconds, lower, switch off and exit the vehicle
Would be useful to have a setting you can select to do this everytime you stop IMO

@Astonbuilder - I have to use access height everytime so I have got into the habit of dropping the car down before just before I stop. Pulling onto the drive for example so by the time I've stopped its' all ready to go My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription
