Run engine with body lifted

Just in the process of replacing both head gasket on my 2009 Land Rover discovery 4. Does anybody know if you can run the engine with the body lifted. If so how is it done?

Extend every single wire by 7 feet

In practice, lower the body onto the chassis, connect wiring and run the car. The car doesn’t care if the body mounts are bolted in, or bumper or lights are fitted Thumbs Up
