Thank you, what is the reason? Did they change the engine spec?

The MY13 was a slight improvement over the MY12 and the MY12 was quite a change from the previous years. The goodness of MY13 was lost in the pursuit of lower emissions from MY14 onwards.

Only difference betwen MY13 and MY14 (that I'm aware of Whistle ) is the stop / start. That can be turned off easily enough (like what I have done Laughing ) and brings the benefit of uprated battery and starter.

I wouldn’t spend very much money on a diesel vehicle that wasn’t EU6. For resale reasons, even if it didn’t directly impact on your use.

Exactly my thoughts, buying anyhting pre Euro6 is just asking for trouble in the near future.

Surely part of the "Cost" of ownership includes the future comparative resale value and MY14+ with its appealing (to buyers) face-lift & EU6 engine will retain value better than the 13 regardless of ad-blue or battery issues perceived on this forum. Just my opinion as a dealer in D4.

Not to say the 2013 is not the best of the rest pre face-lift cars.

Gary, have you noticed an increased interest in buyers looking for Euro6 models?
