Discovery 3 HSE TDV6 - £7,500
6-speed auto - Buckingham Blue Metallic with ebony leather interior and piano black inserts.
First registration 03/04/2009
130,300 miles (this might increase a bit).
Purchased by me in May 2016 from Barry Ashworth 4x4, Rochdale. Two previous owners.
MOT to 16/06/2023.
I have complete service history documentation from March 2010 onwards, when the vehicle was purchased by its second owner.
It’s definitely been well looked after by me since I owned it (by trusted local independent LR specialists), and the paperwork which comes with it suggest that the previous owner took similar care of it.
I can provide a full history (dates, mileages, work done) on request - but highlights since I’ve owned it, above and beyond regular servicing as per schedule, are :
• May ‘22 - new air suspension reservoir tank, compressor and relief valve, replacement NSF ride height sensor
• June ‘21 – front discs & pads replaced, new sump pan (drain plug thread was stripped in the old one)
• June ‘20 – NSR brake caliper replaced
• Sept ‘19 – rear discs, pads and EPB shoes replaced
• June ‘19 – instrument cluster professionally re-soldered to solve intermittent display issue
• May ‘19 – wiper motor replaced, chassis cleaned and Waxoyled
• Aug ‘18 – new Exide battery fitted
• April ‘18 – new Bosch alternator fitted
• March ‘18 – front PDC sensor & wiring repaired, gear selector bush replaced
• May ‘17 – rear upper arms & bushes replaced
• April ‘17 – new injector fitted (to resolve small diesel leak), front wheel nearing replaced (don’t recall which side!)
• Nov ‘16 – EGR blanked and ECU updated by Ian Bodsworth
Generally in very good condition, but a couple of minor things which I should mention :
• Paintwork is generally very good, but some small blemishes here and there commensurate with age
• A bit of wear to the edge of the driver’s seat cushion (from 14 years of entering and exiting the vehicle!)
• There’s a small dent in the offside top corner of the upper tailgate (resulting from a low-hanging tree branch) – see photo. I was quoted around £200 to repair, but it wasn’t a priority
• Rear parking sensors are intermittent
