[For Sale] 2001 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 - £550
More details to follow with pics but just getting it out there on behalf of my lad.
2001, 1199cc, 16v, 74bhp, five speed manual, 3 door, in light metallic blue.
This was a stop-gap car for my lad while he waited on a date for his Velar to be delivered. Got the date now so the Corsa will be going in next few weeks or so.
Great first car with pretty low miles for the age - 60k area. MOT until 1st July 2019.
This car belonged to a friend of my son and was passed along the family line as required. Got to my son's mate who built the miles up with a long daily commute up and down the motorways but then decided to go back to uni'.
His parents insisted the car left the driveway, where it had sat unused for about seven months, before he left home and the timing was right for my son to have it so beer vouchers exchanged hands.....
Went to collect the car and it had three flat tyres, flat battery and no fuel in it. Pumped tyres up, put a gallon of fuel in and hooked it up to a booster pack. 2-3 minutes of cranking and she fired up. Bit of too'ing and fro'ing on the drive to release the seized on brakes and she went for an MOT.
Failed on cracked tyre walls, perished wipers, cracked rear suspension spring. All these were attended to along with new battery and she's not missed a beat since He's also changed front disc pads since and oil change.
Car is clean and tidy generally, few minor plastic scrapes here and there and at some point a minor bump on front that left some minor wing damage (presume headlamp smashed and replaced and small deformation beneath the unit). Interior all clean and tidy with no ripped seats, etc. He won't be spending much time on polishing it all up TBH....... Will add appropriate pics later.
Boggo spec with windy-up windows but does have plip locking, power steering, decent aftermarket radio unit, etc. and......not much else on the 'Comfort' spec model.
Car is located in Leamington Spa but can probably help with delivery if not too far
Will update with pics and answer any queries.

Bit of a bump as the Velar arrives next weekend
Still at Brum airport till Weds 10th October but I got a few pics when I passed
Last pic shows minor dink from a bump that required a new headlamp. That’s also the worst scuff, couldn’t really see any others on the car.
There is a set of wheeltrims with the car but not refitted since tyres replaced. He said they could do with a flashover of silver paint to tidy them up
