[For Sale] G4 Roof Rack - £400
Hello all
G4 Expedition roof rack, fitted for a number of years, so not in perfect condition. The paint is a little flaked in places as shown in the pics below. My dog chewed one of the plastic support struts, it is purely cosmetic and you can't really tell once it is fitted, but may put some people off.
I also had some spare steel mounting brackets fabricated, as they can be quite hard to find. Buyer must collect and be aware that it is BIG, so come prepared in a large van or ready to fit it.

Must be a big dog if it can get up to the roof to chew the support ! I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I stupidly left the support on the dining table before I fitted it and he got hold of it! He is a Newfoundland, so pretty big, but not Clifford the Big Red Dog levels.

Still for sail? Does it ftis on the roof rack bars?
Second is a TransK9 B10 dog crate. I believe these are the biggest crates you can fit in a Disco. Not perfect, there is a little flaking of the powder coating on the corners and the fan unit is slightly damaged. I never wired up the fans, so I don't know if they still work. In addition I have a set of unused suspension springs (not air struts!) and some rear light covers that I never got around to fitting. Free to anyone who wants to collect them.

I'm interested, but first I'd like to know if the roof rack fits the original roof rails and if you still have the parts to attach the rook rack to the rails.

Not looking to spoil a potential sale BUT it's a long way to send it if it's wrong !
Looking at the pics it fits direct to the car, so NOT using any bars or rails you may already have.

Hi,
It fits on the roof rack bars, I think you need the extended (not the short) roof rails which go all the way to the front but I am happy to be corrected on that point if anyone knows better.
Use them a lot and never have an issue. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
