[For Sale] Genuine raised air intake RAI
Genuine RAI in very good condition, comes with bolts, 3 new nut serts and the blanking caps. Has been cleaned and treated with Autoglym rubber and plastic, someone has put 4 additional slots on the top of the RAI, to be honest they don't look out of place and have been neatly done. I'll send a genuine set of printed fitting instructions.

Good evening my discovery has a genuine RAI fitted from new with the receipt from Land Rover and it has the 4 slots in the top

i beleive genuine LR ones do but other newer one that are similer or use the original patten dont bother to cut the slots out
i may be wrong though but thats what someone told me once Discovery 3 - Black SE with HSE upgrade

The first edition of the LR rai had those forward air slots, as well as the air being drawn through the rear grill.
The LR edition thereafter had them blanked, with air drawn through the rear grill only.
I suppose the second edition makes more sense e.g. Following behind another vehicle in convoy that's kicking up the dust.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
