Gary ... Shocked .. You could try heating a bit of old plastic up and drop it in the hole

Greg .. It's actually higher at the moment than MK1... But it's going to drop when I start loading it up .

It should be just a smidge over 1.8 meters for the roof tent awning when finished G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I assume that these aren't suitable, doesn't say what if anything is steel, the mandrel I assume?

Can you get aluminium mandrel rivets?

Yes .. I have 4 boxes of various sizes from when I did my last trailer

In presuming its because of the size I can only find steel mandrels .

I brought a small pack to try .. My air riveter won't break the mandrel out .. And by hand I nearly gave myself a hernia Laughing

Don't know if I got a bad batch .. But they shouldn't be that difficult to break G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Cant wait to see the finished Mk2 version.

I can see a Sankey bias weekend coming along later in the year, lots of people out there with thieir own Sankey projects.
