the Disco sat nav is great … as long as you don't travel anywhere that roads have changed in last 8 years or so. Laughing

It also doesn't take into account of any traffic jams or closed roads so if you're in a really big hurry I always use that one rather than Google Maps as it always estimates the time to location well under that of GM (the reality is somewhat different though) Big Cry

Sat nav isn’t great. Thought it did use traffic info though.

Display is useful for 4x4 info or reverse camera.

Satnav in the D3 is THE BEST..
I once travelled south and planned a route with the TomTom to go around Paris on the east side,
as I had 'life maps' and HD-traffic info subscriptions. For some reason [ never figured out how/why]
it changed its routing to a rout through Paris, ignoring that by then it would be rush hour on a friday.
So I suddenly realised I was driving into Paris on the north side of the Seine.. .. and entered a traffic jam.
Watching the screen while stagnant I saw al roads were coloured red. I cancelled the route and let it
set a new one. It told me to turn of, cross the road that I was on and go the other way, where stagnant traffic stood.. Evil or Very Mad

So I went ballistic, fired up the Disco Satnav, programmed Orleans city centre, took the turn-off ,
but instead of entering in the other direction I went into town... .. not even 15 minutes later I was out,
heading towards Orleans and crossed most of Paris centre without any further jam !!! Whistle

Actually works very well for me as the road system in Argyll was built from old cattle driving roads and very little has changed since
