Sat Nav usb

When you buy a new disco4 does it come with a usb stick for the navigation, to upgrade the maps year on year ? Eg, download onto the stick, then upload via sub ?

Thanks

On my MY14 the handbook tells you how to install POIs from a USB memory stick. Quite an easy process. However, speed cam POIs on the inbuilt satnav aren't much use (hard to see on screen and no audible warning). So I have CamerAlert on my PDA and use that.

Yes, I get a visual OK but it's small and easily missed.

I can set the gong or whatever to sound when near any POI, but not just for a specific set (in this case speed cams).

Unless I've missed something. Which is entirely possible. Laughing

maybe we should be paying more attention to the road rather than the satnav Thumbs Up
