Sat Nav whilst driving

Sorry can't find the thread this was mentioned on but if the 07 Sat Nav allows input whilst driving can't the software be made available to owners of earlier models as an update to give us the same convenience? 2005 Disco 3 HSE in Zambezi + Ebony, Sat Nav, Active Locking Rear Diff and Cool Box
