satnav

hi, I've just bought a disco 3 HSE. 2007. the screen says "satnav not available", but there is a dvd player under the seat. at first i thought there wasnt a disc because it wont eject so i disconnected it and you can see a disc inside it. it dosnt seen to make a noise so I'm not sure if there's power to it.... any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
