Second row seat width in D3

Hi All,

I currently have a 2006 FFRR and am thinking of buying a D3 instead (Petrol D4's are practically non existent).

In 2 months we'll be having our 3rd child so that'll be 3 kids, a dog and all the crap that comes with them for when we go away.
I've tested the baby seat along with a booster and 'mid' seat along the back in the FFRR and it's too tight so just want to know if the D3 bench is wider/more accommodating. (I think it is)

Does anyone happen to know the width of the middle seats? I know it's not exact but would be much appreciated.

I don't know the measurements, but I do know that it's possible to fit a full size baby seat and /or booster seat on all of the three seats in the middle row of a D3/4.

Use the search facility with words such as "baby seats", "child seats" and "booster seats" etc.

It is a topic that has been discussed over the years. Thumbs Up

The middle seat in my D3 is exactly 17 inches wide (435mm), total width across the rear seats is 53 inches (1350mm) and armrest to armrest rear is 55 inches (1400mm).

Let me know if you need any other measurements? Thumbs Up

Amazing! Thank you.

Interestingly, these are the measurements from my FFRR
Middle seat - 12.5 inches wide
Total width across - 55 inches
Armrest to armrest - 57 inches.

Guess the middle seat being a proper seat is where it makes all the difference in actual space.
