What to Buy what Not to Buy!!!

Hey folks!

killing me here,

P. Atrs, Cooper ATT, Avon AX7 or Hankook Dynapro HP2 RA33

I've been thinking for over a week now, and my EU holiday is round the corner!

I drive 80 road and 20 of road, however when of road I like to have something responsive.

I also travel to Poland every winter (Wife) so I need a responsive snow tracking!

Help is welcome!

thanks,
Rob.

Sounds like you need a winter rated AT. So Grabber AT3 or Pirelli AT+. AT3 is slightly more road oriented. Work well off road. If your off reading is rough, the AT+ might be a better option as it's probably slightly tougher. Not quite so good on road, however, I feel.

That Michelin isn't going to be much good in snow, I'd guess, and it's 100% road oriented. It's also N0 marked which is a Porsche specific rating.

The Michelin Latitude Sport comes as factory fit on some L494 RRS and L405 FFRR. They are a pure road tyre as Wayne mentions above.

I have them on my L320 RRS in 255/55/20 fitment. I'd say they are a good on road tyre, quiet and comfortable.

Hi

I've been pondering tyres for a while and have found this forum very useful, so thanks to all.

I have just fitted Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure tyres to my Disco (255/55/19 size). What attracted me to these tyres is that they have Kevlar in the sidewalls and got a very good write up on sidewall strength in a comparison by a south african magazine.

I do some greenlaning and the tracks tend to be rocky/flinty rather than deep mud so I'm hoping these tyres will be good. We'll see!

They were very reasonable at £126 each fitted.

Cheers

Steve
