Folks
first service due at 15k miles - which for me means somewhere in the middle of hols (probably). I've had a quick look at the service book and cant find any mention of a + or - how many miles either side of the service mileage is the limit. I've even had a look in the warrenty book (as its usually these b*ggars that try and get out of a claim if you havn't done things by the book).
I'm at 13250 now, probably 14k by start of hol, possibly just over 15k when back from France.
So I'm likely to book it in for immediately I get back of hols, as I hate doing things just before, in case they get something wrong and it screws my hols.

I have been quoted £385 by a local LR dealer, the best they can do apparently.  Fuji White, Auto with Surround Camera

where was that. Cheapest I've found was hereford LR at £239 inc vat.
And..sorry - question wa about mileage not cost, but welcome cost info.

Al, sorry should have read it more closely 
This was at Shukers in Ludlow. My dealer.
Not sure if this still stands as it was some time ago now... but they looked it up on the terminal in reception and got the standard price from the system... LR price I believe.
Even my 30K main service price was less than that 15K interim service price.
Drop them a call.

you got one relly good deal, as I've just phoned them and been quoted £245 all inc. Still not bad as this is £50 cheaper than my supplying dealer (Bushbury)

Mine's in for its 15k at the moment. I'm expecting £300, unless they've mis-quoted me.
Thought this isnt too bad - would cost me more in fuel and time to find a cheaper dealer as next closest to Chester is either Knutsford or Conway. D3 HSE V8...

mmm...
maybe LR have upped the pricing in the last year. I think my 30K was £320 from memory.
Oh well was worth a try eh ?

thanks for the reminder. I already have the latest software update, and I've done the tailgat strut myself, so its the other bits I need to get checked/sorted.

When booking mine (Ripon LR- £219 - ask for Eric) he said that you should have it done within 1 mth / 1000 miles of the 12 mth / 15,000 mile interval. Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles
