Pete is right. Geoff would not have changed the filter. Opinions vary but generally with a full flush it doesn't get changed. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I use the Mannol and a little Dr Tranny and swap in the drive in around 1 hour every 30,000 miles.
I pump from the top connector and pump back in via the opposite side - I use an oil pump to pump it in after the pumping old out, then get to temp and top up/drain as neccessary
Buy Manol from Germany on Ebay for a fraction of the UK price and its here in 2 days currently its around £50 for 7 litres
inc shipping
You can use AG55 or AG60 as the 60 is downward compatible in the 6 speed box
Have previously swapped the pan and filter to the BMW style metal one on the last car but wouldnt bother again (havent with this D3) as there was nothing in the filter that came off after 150,000 miles
Definitely feels nicer after its done. Must stop buying shiny toys....
