Shouldn't my steering wheel be on straight?
After Stratstone did some suspension work a couple of months ago (anti roll bar bushes and something swingarm-y) my front tyres are now bald on the outer edges.
I took it back and shelled out a hefty £95 to get the "four wheel alignment" treatment.
They gave itme back saying the adjustment was "quite far out".
On the way home I notice that my steering wheel now points significantly off to the left.
Do I have a quality complaint and am I within my rights to expect that they do the tracking AND give me back a car with "straight-ahead" steering wheel? My service rep can be a bit of an excuse-merchant and will wriggle out of rework if he can.
cheers

Sounds like what has happened to Mrs DSL's car, unfortunately that dealer is 250 miles from here so cheaper to pay £95, assuming servicing dealer would do it FOC.

Usual Stratstone F k up - none of them ae immune to the idiot factor must be company policy
Get it back to them and demand they do the job correctly, thats if they know how?

Wasn't stratsones, was Lakeland and would cost me £100 in fuel to get there & back, plus a very long day! Besides car ain't moving until I get the EGR valve sorted!

Mines due to have the rear AR Bushes by my dealer, do I need to look out for this too
TFC diagnosed the bushes failing, and pointed out the play in them, N/S alot worse. TFC did say its a simple job, wheel off n replace, will that require a 4 wheel alignment
Just asking as my MTR's are as new, not wanting to tear them up

Still stand by my comments about Strastones though - currently having to travel out of South Wales to find a non Stratstone dealer to do work, real pain but ant the work done correctly!!!

No Simoniz - you were right. Stratstone's mis-aligned my wheel. I think Lakeland did DSL's missus' car.
cheers
