Being as LR products are very 'sensitive' to battery charge (Stop/Star for e.g) surely this will drain the battery....especially if left for week or more??

My Blackvue records 24/7

Yes I have had stop/start issues and this was down to the vehicle battery. Lots of tests were carried out and the draw from the Blackvue was so small it became insignificant as a currant drain.

Agree they don't record from the side but it does pick up an approach from both front and rear.

I cant understand why anyone would nick one, unless you are lucky enough to find one about to fall off the only way to get it off in a usable condition is drill the rivets out, other wise to rip it off its just scrap, worth about a £1 or £2.

OK.... I wonder what the 'draw' would be from a "Nextbase 300G" - I think it is' (if it can even record 24/7 - not checked?) which seems to be the most popular and recommended (by 'Which' and others as far as I can see)

Indeed I have had my Nextbase for around a year or so and have sent footage off to the local 'old bill' of some 'reckless driving' who responded that the driver had been 'dealt with' (I'm in Cornwall and the 'dodgy' vehicle was from 'Up Country - way........ 'Up Country'..... it was a 'hairy moment"!).
