Snorkels

Apologies if its been covered, but being a tart, I prefer the look of the RAI over the Safari. Is there a fool proof way of modifying the RAI to make it waterproof?

Cheers

You can put some sealent / rubber / silicone etc around the fitting. But it is a raised air intake. Not a snorkel for deep wading.

The air box has good drainage in case you do go below the recommended wading depth. And the RAI will give you a bit more protection.

But if you expect to need a proper waterproofed snorkel and submerge the vehicle to that extent then you need to worry about the electrics more than whether the RAI is water proof or not...
