Snow and back wiper

Hi going to the snow soon, for those in the know
Are there any issues with snow accumulating on the back window, getting really heavy and the bending/ breaking the rear wiper ? (as it happened to my previous car)

i would always clear the snow off the window and wipers by hand and ensure they arent frozen to the window. if they are, or the snow is partuculary wet and heavy then the thread on the wiper could get stripped.
