It looks like you guys had a really good time, I'm jealous. Mr. Green Thumbs Up

I spent a day on the same course about this time last year with the LRE guys when I was in my D2 and had a real laugh - even my kids were screaming at some points, it really makes you aware of just how capable these machines are - but I picked up so many new scratches and dents I would be petrified of doing the same in my D3 (It "owes" me more money as well). I know that what they were designed for, but maybe a few gentle green lanes first.

There was onyl one scratchy moment for me, & that was from an overhead branch.

I think the guys at this site did a great job in getting everyone around safely and vurtually unscathed.

Top job and top course. Thumbs Up

I got more bodywork damage on green lanes than I have on several of these more "challenging" events . . . .

The G4 in the top picture belongs to LRE. ABout 30 minutes after the picture it wasn't looking so new...he pranged it (albeit only a little bit) on the first real offroad bit. Slight dent in the lower part of the left wing and lost a bit trim.

The other G4 in the second picture belongs to Marcus. And has that lovely V8 sound (and a frightening thirst for petrol... Laughing )

So the only damage (except 90bhp's steering) was caused to vehicles driven by LR instructors Whistle

perhaps they should go on some of TFC and AndrewS's training courses Rolling with laughter

Unless you also want to include the damage done to Marcus' wallet as a result of hooning around Snowdonia in a V8.... Laughing

I've been told that the LRW photographer who was taking pictures on Sunday at Bala has produced a disk (DVD?) of them.

Apparently there are 206 images on the disk and the cost is £10 + £1 p&p.

If you want one then just ping LRE Snowdonia on info@lresnowdonia.co.uk or 0844 848 4461

Cheers Thumbs Up

I assume if we buy the DVD of pics, then we'll also have the copyright to print the pics out?
