Spare wheel

Fortunately, I don't think anyone here has had their spare pinched yet Question I haven't yet checked the tech' side of removing the spare and how, if at all, it is protected from theft but it occurred to me today after I had parked that it is a very visible temptation to any thieving eye. If anyone knows of any after market extra to make it harder for them, I would love to hear about it. After all, it is only a matter of time before the little b******s start targeting us for the second hand market and replacements will cost us a good few quid.

It's probably take bolt cutters or bigger to get it off unless they can get inside the car. Any security measure would probably weigh a fair bit if it's going to be even harder to get off

RLD, they are to reduce vibration. It was thought they were for 10forcash before however.

We have an idea, but it is cutting the circle that is the problem. On small batches he doesn't like setting up the laser cutter. He will make something I am sure.

Personally RLD, I think they are just lumps of 'pig iron' to make it the heaviest 4x4 on the road, but they don't half hurt when you bang your head on them.
