If space is tight rather than take hoses why not use amalgamating tape. Does a great job of fixing all rubber hoses and takes up a small corner of your toolbox.
Goodshout on the suspension airline fixing kit. Is it 5mm or 6mm pipe. Some stainless inline connectors can be had cheaply and a small length of pipe wouldn't be to expensive. Perhaps a breakers yard with a D3 in would be a good source for the pipe? HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
They shall not grow old as those of us left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condem. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.
