thanks guys - I've tried the reset button push like in my old Disco 2 - this didnt work - hence the mail. The settings menu I have turned over to kM's for speed warning & fusel consumption ('cos I relate to Litres /100 kms better than mpg)

This changed the navigation from miles & yards into kiloMetres & metres but not the trip meter under the milometer (maybe I was wrong in caling it the odometer (although Wikpedia says its called this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odometer).

Actually set the speed warning to about 82 / 83 mph to dong whan Ive got up to orbit speed on the motorway - the wife played hell because travelling about that speed it bongs quite regularly (in addition to temperature alarm & suspension height change etc).

Next day travelled from Belfast to Newcastle (Belfast Stranrear ferry) driving along the A75 - was stopped by Mr McPlod for exceeding the speed limit - Censored . Was clocked at 82......so its a £60 fine & three lashess of the whip on an otherwise clean licence.

The A75 Stranrear to Dumfries road is 60 mph - even after all the loot they have spent on improvements - this means my frequent journeys on this road will be made at 60mph from now on.

Be warned - plain clothes police car & hand held gun - whether there is any poing in contesting this ????
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
