Called LR this morning to be told that a request had gone to LRA asking that further investigation could be carried out with a view to fitting a new compressor. Maybe I should be a little less ready for the confrontation and let them do their bit. I don't think I'd be at this stage if I hadn't pointed out that it was a known problem and to check the TSB's for the history.
TBH I suppose they have taken what I asked and actually got on with doing it, which I should be happy about.
Best give them a chance to do it then.

Having heard nothing at all regarding the progress of the repairs, I called LR Dunton today. I was told that a new compressor had been fitted but there were further problems . The lady couldn't really say what the further problems were and said the fitter had called LR Technical for advice this afternoon. I made a suggestion they look at the return valve on the resevoir. (I think that's what I saw here, could be miles out!)
She took a note and said someone would call me tomorrow. They won't call of course, they never do. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!
