SPOTTED DISCOWEX and I think the illusive MR Kehoe |
|
Spotted Discowex today in the carpark of AIB bank in Sandyford! Well I was meeting him there but this is my first spotted post! He has a lovely new tow ball landrover plastic cap .All the girls swoon when they see it! . On a more serious note! Brendan did I pass you today on the way to Dublin ?
Cheers

Hmm, I can't say I spotted you, but yes I was in Dublin yesterday anyway. Left here at around 13:20 onto the N30 and then N11 and arrived in Dundrum at around 15:10, and then straight from there into near St Stephens Green (and got briefly lost on the way with the poor satnav woman shouting at me). Left at around 19:00 and home at around 21:00. That help? I've got a disco3 sticker in the back window and the rear ladder btw. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Naah, dropping off someone who actually likes shopping for 4 hours while I did more important things (picking up some giant textbooks that'd scare even Einstein, and my passport which now has a SA Visa in it)
I've got all the hot climate stuff I need (gallons of insect repellent !) but I'm struggling with my baggage weight allowance of 20KG! IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Books + the suitcase itself add up to 11KG. Hand luggage is taken up by laptop and gadgets, so only 9KG left to bring anything else.
Sure, if there's time - leaving here Friday morning. Will be down in Wexford either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon, but I suppose you're still in Dublin in the afternoons? IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

You could offer to lose some personal body weight thus compensating towards an increased baggage weight !
9 kgs of Denny Sausages , Bacon , Black n White pudding and Taytos and Barrys Tea ( Irish lot will understand )
Yup in the "dirty ole town" everyday but will try and make it up some evening

That seems a bit stingy !!
Surely the baggage allowance of the long haul component of the itinerary should outweigh the stingy feeder flight allowance.
Or are you booked on separate PNR's ???

Really
That's unworkable.
How could they expect a family going on holidays for two weeks to manage with an allowance like that ???
Never mind someone heading over for an extended period of time like you are.
Mind boggling
Anyway best of luck with the training, I'm still dead jealous
