Hello. Driving tonight and on left hand corners I heard a loud rubbing/squeaking noise from the front right. Got home and jacked it up and the noise seems to be the cv gaiter rubbing on itself under lock. I silicone sprayed it which has had minimal improvement while rotating by hand. While rotating the wheel I did feel a slight roughness at full lock. Bearing was changed less than 10k miles ago and there is no rocking on the hub. Could the cv joint itself be on the way out? The gaiter itself is not split and there are no leaks. Has anyone else needed a new cv? Car has done 67,000miles so not exactly stellar...
