I dont know that anybody does steels for the D3, and to be honest, theres always a selection of Alloy 17's and 18's on fleebay going fairly cheap.

sacimiddx, 17's should be ok on a TDV6 HSE, provided you haven't modified the front brakes to those of the V8 petrol (they are a bigger dia brake assy and won't fit inside a 17" rim).

17s are OK on TDV6 (doesnt matter what trim spec), unless you've upgraded the front brakes to V8 or Brembo spec.

17" Steel rims exists and are for sale in Australia for something like $80 (Australian $).
I tried to find some in Europe, and especialy in france, but...no way.

Gdday Folks,
just noticed your debate about availability of steel rims for Disco 3 - see the following Oz thread http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic3864-90.html which refers to sources of both alloy and steel rims here in Oz - if that is any help (no idea if they are made here...or?). As others have said, better to beat up a steel rim than a solid gold LR article (must be solid gold at their price...!). I think I have heard the steel rims are less than A$100 each but not sure - can find out if of interest.
