Stereo Discovery 4 SE
Hi!
Sorry for my bad english I'm from Sweden.
The car I want are a 4 hours drive from were I live, so I have a few questions before I goo there.
I'm thinking buying a Discovery 4 2011 SE.
1: How do I know witch stereo it have?
Its stand Harman Kardon at the front speaker. You can change the sound on a sub at the stereo.
The car doesn't have a GPS and the monitor i black/white.
2: Its this stereo good? I have only listened to the HSE stereo.
3: Were is the AUX placed? Does all SE models come with an AUX?
4: Does all SE-models come with Bluetooth? How do I know if the car has bluetooth? The seller told me, if he push the telephone-button it only stand "MUTE"
5: If the car doesn't have bluetooth, is it possible to install this later?
Sorry for the strange questions, the seller aren't use to Land Rovers, he only sells Audi.

The seller found the AUX, so the car has AUX.
Do you know witch stereo it is in this car? Is it the mist basic one or the best one(HSE)?

Hi Dadde, since the internal screen is the black & white and I guess you mean the small one, this must be the basic audio unit. High ICE and Premium ICE come with a 7" screen.

Ok. Is there a subwoofer in the basic stereo, because you can change subwoofer-volume in the stereo-menu?
In some paper its says that the SE model would come with 9 speakers a subwoofer and an amplifier 240w.
Its that the basic stereo?
Is it good sound?
Can you uppgrade this stereo to HSE-stereo?
What is the difference between this stereo and the stereo in the HSE?
Can you se if there is bluetooth if you look at the picture?

In the uk market the 2011 had a mid-line stereo marked Harman Kardon, 9 speakers with sub woofer.
It sounds ok but you are driving a 3ton diesel car at the same time.
The hi-line stereo needs the nav screen and addition amp including wiring (MOST architecture I think - if you do a search I think someone has retro fitted on but it was a huge amount of work.
In uk market Bluetooth buttons are on the right side of steering wheel and cruise on left. Looking at your picture - No Bluetooth.

Definitely this is the base stereo system not the HK version. As Stenh02 already mentioned it Is a complete different system and it will be a huge amount of work and money to retrofit to HK with or without satnav. Also you need access to a Faultmate or similar tool for activation. Second this Disco doesnt have bluetooth! Otherwise there would be the switches on the right side of the steering wheel.
As I have heard the standard low line system (base system) is not too bad. If the deal Is good I would think about tune it up with an aftermarket satnav system with integrated bluetooth which can also be installed almost looking original.
