Foiled tracker theft
Hi guys,
I think you will all be interested in the following.......
Last night at around 2030hr my wife spotted someone walking out from our drive. When I checked back on cctv it became clear he was a thief eyeing up my Disco and leaving us a little present on the chassis!!
I'll try and upload the videos and you can let me know your thoughts.

Guys,
I'm not having much luck finding the videos I'd like to send. Any idea?

Not sure but you might have to post the vid to YouTube then link to it.
I'd go stick that tracker on an unmarked Police vehicle (with their permission of course) and wait for them to show up
Glad you folied them but be vigilant as they still found your car in the first place

No idea on the video things but I'm surprised that vehicles the age and value of ours are desirable enough to warrant such activity. As much as we love them they're not exactly rare and appreciating in value!2011 D4 SDV6 HSE
2008 D3 TDV6 HSE
2005 D3 V8 SE - left in Oz..

It might be an idea to stick a tracker of your own on incase they manage to steal it.

Take it to the police and let them dust it for prints.. ..inside the box.
Then use it for police sting on a D4 with a special remote.. ..switch ignition off..

Just inform the police and let them take the device away.

You are of course presuming it's the car they are after rather than who/what it contains.

Sounds like a plot for TAKEN D3 the movie
Could see Liam as the leading role driving a Disco, posting updates on a forum about what he's fixed on his beloved Landrover and then....Its missing

You're not having an affair, or you other half suspects you of having an affair
She might have instructed a PI to keep tabs on you
or a Government body keeping tabs on you

I strongly suspect it's a key code grabber or similar rather than a tracker.
Why would they need to track where you go, they know where you live and presumably where you park your car at night? Mods:
