Storage ideas
Looking for storage ideas...
Don't want a drawer system as sometimes use the rear seats or want to stuff the boot full.
Currently use the side cubby holes for some bits and under the 2nd row for others, but the side cubby whole is about to be filled with a tow pack and under the 2nd row is a PITA when using the third row as it takes all the space.
Was thinking of strapping some molle pouches to the rear cargo guard, but then this has to come out to use third seat...
It's a mixed bag of stuff that I carry and I want to be able to get to some just in case (hi via, fa kit, etc) whereas shovel and recovery strap don't need to be so accessible so quickly.
I also often have the dog cage in taking half the width of the boot.
Thinking about it, I have,
- shovel
- recovery strap and shackles
- ratchet straps
- hi visa vests
- fa kit
- bothy bag and some rope
- ground sheet
- waterless soap and towel
- screw drivers and some misc tools
- axe and bow saw
I could probably loose the ground sheet.

Yes, it's where I currently stash most of mine, under the middle seats. It's just if you want to use the third row, their leg room is compromised.

I have a similar amount with almost all of it in laptop slip cases behind the side panels or the rear cubbies. My toolkit is somewhat larger so resides in a black canvas tool bag that is a similar shape to the space under the third row or the space behind a third row seat when raised. Moving one bag when raising that seat is no drama.
