Strange noise from Engine....and sick sounding horn !

Morning,

I noticed an issue this weekend, When I reach 80KPH I hear what I can only describe as a groan from up front. It sounds like the engine note changes and becomes slightly boomey. Like when a petrol engine has a free flow system and you get resonance. I tested going up a hill and as soon as I get to 80 the noise appears. After 80 it goes away.

Also my horn sounds a bit sick, only the weedy hooter is working. I took the grill off and could only see one horn. Does mine us two horns?

Any advice you would be much appreciated !

Cheers

The other horn is to the side of the headlight (passenger side, you can't see it without taking out headlight).

mine has a resonance too at 1700 revs in 5th (80kph), hardly noticeable, more acceleration and it goes. Also noticed more prevalent with my engine tune (sounds like sand mode). have you had the engine remapped ?
There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Mine also has a droning noise at around 1500 rpm, this comes in at about 40mph in 5th or 50 in 6th, it's only really noticeable on gentle acceleration like maintaining speed up a slight incline.

I'm suspecting it could be a resonance in the exhaust system. It's always been there and not got any worse so I just ignore it now.

On the horn, there are actually two horns, and one note generally goes bad/quits. You just need to stand under the hood and identify which one it is.

Horn Low Note

Horn High Note
