Strange vibration!

Ever since my EPB played up on the way to the Simpson Desert I have had a vibration from the rear of the car under acceleration noticed most on smooth roads. It mostly happens when coming out of a corner and usually from a stand still. It is just like when the EPB was wrongly adjusted after a service but nowhere near as bad and no heat or smell. The EPB was fixed after the desert trip a few weeks ago and the red light has not flashed until yesterday.. I have stopped using the EPB again..
Oh for a normal handbrake!!! Being looked at on Wednesday at the same time getting new elec window unit. The old one sometimes doesn't always shut the drivers window properly.. Anybody had either of these two things?

Sounds more like the transmission judder that a few on here seem to suffer. Probably needs an auto gearbox oil change.

Hi,

I had the same problem at around 95K, the front universal of the rear shaft was worn. When examined there was also some wear in the front tailshaft universals. Both shafts were completely replaced under warranty just after the 96K service. Very happy with the outcome, all is smootha s new again.
