The sun comes out the AC plays up 🙄

Whilst having my boys car AC sorted I got the chap to have a look at my AC he has done this for all my cars, I have rear AC and he said I’m down about 7% over what should be in so he did a pressure test etc all ok and then re filled my problem is rather than kicking in straight away when I turn the AC on low after the car has been sat in the sun it can take upto 20 mins for it to switch on, once on its lovely and cold could this be a faulty low pressure switch or could it be linked to my low coolant message (usual problem float has sunk in coolant tank) I’ve got the iid what should I be looking for, once it’s been run if I start up again a few hours later it starts nice and cold and stays that way

Is it on nights that were very cold 4°C ish. If yes, that could be the issue.
Does the dash outside temp work ok ?

Thanks mate was that at start up or after a while I think I have a problem with the low pressure sensor, it doesn’t kick in for at least 20 mins then it’s lovely and cold mine is in Kps
