Hi Guys
We (well ok mainly Ant) have had the body off and heads off to replace heater plugs. Long story.
Anyway, she's all back together now and throwing no faults at all, but the suspension is sitting on bump stops and won't pump up.
The compressor doesn't kick in but we think that's because it isn't being asked to.
In the cab, the suspension switch is lit up to say it is raised. So it think's its raised but it's actually on bump stops.
Is this a calibration fault? We had the body off for 2 weeks (the man that drilled the glow plugs out off on holiday while he had the heads). Ant (who is a master technician he keeps reminding me, 18 years experience as foreman at Merc and Iveco working on trucks) does know what he's doing and grumbles about landrovers all the time haha.
He seems to think that if we can get if lifted then it will "remember " it's calibration and away it will go.
Does anyone with any more experience of landrovers know what causes this kind of issue and how it might be fixed or does it have to go to a man with the software to recalibrate it?
Edit - It's a disco 3. 55 reg.
Thanks guys

I'd have a look at the connector in the passenger front wheel arch, so see if they are all together again.
and look at ones with thick wires (as they are probably compressor)
I suspect its more to do with the body being seperated

hi pete
Yeah they're all together, he's sure it's just forgotten it's calibration.
He reckons the old P38s used to do it all the time.
He also thinks that if there was a loose connection, or a multi-plug that wasn't connected then it'd throw a fault. But we're not getting any faults.
Or are we wrong on that??
