Suspension fault - fixed!!

Dropped the Disco off at Greenbank 4x4 (independant LR specialist) this morning to finish off the service, MOT and to investigate the suspension fault mentioned in previous topics. 4.5 hours of labour later and all is fixed and working perfectly plus sailed through MOT and all for a price less than the local stealer would normally charge just for the service and MOT so well chuffed. Thumbs Up

Second time I've used these guys and both times the service/work has been excellent so highly recommended. The place is choc-a-bloc with LR's in for repair which is a good sign for service but not so good for the marque Rolling Eyes

Fault turned out to be a broken wire from the front EAS valve block (feed wire) which was broken near the blue connector behind the front nearside arch liner. Chatting to the guys it appears that they have seen this particular fault a lot on the Disco 3's. I was expecting a height sensor or corroded wiring/connectors but not so.

Now just got to decide on whether or not to stick 20" wheels on or stick with the original 18" and give her a good clean from top to bottom. Oh, and get round to repairing that rodent induced diesel tank breather pipe properly.
